    because this to shall pass.

First off, thanks for taking a minute to take a peek at something I love to do. Here is where I try my hardest to capture special times in people’s lives. Days pass by quickly and its important to remember the days of new love, little smiles, and old hands. I’m a wife and a mom and I’m not perfect. I know days don’t go perfectly and kids don’t always cooperate. Some days are sweatpant no shower days and somedays are hectic beyond belief. . .but these are my days. Whatever “day” you are in, cherish it and don’t forget them. These too shall pass and they are worth remembering. I would love to capture these times for you.

And then there were four.

I’ve had four babies of my own, but seeing someone else give birth is totally different. I stood and watched a new little life enter this world and documented the precious moment. It was stressful, graphic, heart wrenching and absolutely amazing. These two rocked this birth. We were all only at the hospital for not even  an hour before the baby was born. It was a whirlwind. Thank you so much for sharing these special moments with me and trusting me to capture this special time in your lives.

the style crusader - Stephanie, I’m so proud of you. I know this was something you really wanted to do. I can’t imagine taking photos at an event like this! Wait… what am I talking about, I DID take photos at an event like this. Okay, I can’t imagine taking photos of a birth of someone I didn’t know well. The way you described it is spot on: ‘stressful, graphic, heart wrenching and absolutely amazing.’ I felt exactly the same way after I took photos when Ellie was born.

Incredibly beautiful! I want you to take photos one day when I have a baby… :)

xx

Tommy+Julie+Deven+Weyland

So, here is one of my favorite families, really. Soon they will be welcoming their new little girl Weyland Cole and I’m so excited for them and what the upcoming days hold for them. Tommy and Julie have loved on my babies for some time now and I can’t wait to see how they love on their tiny new baby. They are going to be great parents, they already are.

Dinah Rogers - That was a field of love! Wonderful photos. You captured them, Stephanie.

Logan Turns ONE!

Happy Birthday Logan! Its amazing how much babies change within the first year of their lives. The last time I saw this little guy was just about 3 months ago. Since then, he has started standing and is curious level has shot up. It was clear from watching him that he had  a plan and a goal. All he wanted to do was move around and explore. It was so fun watching his little mind go! Happy Birthday Logan!
